Vintage IXS Blue Leather Motorcycle Overalls -Rare

Rare vintage IXS leather motorcycle overalls in an exceptional cobalt blue leather with an intensely sculptural, almost armour-like construction throughout. A far more unusual and visually striking alternative to standard moto leathers, featuring heavily padded panelling through the knees and back, curved seam construction and substantial weight throughout the garment. Originally designed for performance riding, though the exaggerated silhouette and industrial detailing give the piece a strong avant-garde feel. Features adjustable shoulder straps without fixed notches for a more adaptable fit, multiple zip and interior storage pockets, snap and zip front closure and zip openings at the lower legs designed to sit cleanly over boots. The leather remains thick, supple and beautifully saturated in colour. An increasingly difficult style to source, particularly in this shade and size. Sourced in Russia.
