Made in a thick cotton towelling, the jacket was designed to be worn poolside or over swimwear, balancing practicality with design.

The boxy cut, oversized buttons, and textured pile reflect the era’s move toward relaxed luxury and pattern. Pieces like this were often worn hard and rarely survive in such crisp condition. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I found the 3 unworn towelling pieces together under old swimming costumes. A real treasure.
