Rare Vintage 1960s-70s Pink Sheepskin Shearling Gilet Vest

Rare vintage pink sheepskin shearling gilet dating to the late 1960s or early 1970s. Made from thick, plush genuine sheepskin in a bubblegum pink with luxurious weight and finish.

The interior is fully lined in substantial shot satin that shifts from burnt orange through burgundy to near black depending on the light. Beautifully constructed, with a bound hanging loop, concealed internal pocket and large leather-trimmed front pockets that are fully functional rather than decorative.

Fastens with two concealed hook and eye closures at the front but can also be worn open.

Condition

The sheepskin remains soft, full and vibrant with no thinning or bald patches noted. The satin lining is intact with no seam separation or fraying. Presents in excellent vintage condition. No flaws noted.

The cut works across a range of sizes depending on the desired fit, from an oversized look on smaller frames to a closer fit on larger sizes. Please refer to measurements.
