Rare 1970s Rancelli Thunderbird Knit Dress | Wool Blend | Hong Kong Made

Vintage Rancelli knit dress, dating to the late 1960s- early 1970s. Made in Hong Kong from a 65% acrylic / 35% wool blend. With a V-neckline, flared sleeves, fitted waist and full A-line skirt. The thunderbird motif and striped detailing give it a distinctly 1970s look.

The knit has a substantial weight, letting the skirt hang well without clinging. The fabric has stretch and is best suited to a size S, with potential fit for a small M depending on desired fit. Please refer to measurements for accuracy.

The previous owner repaired a small number of snags. Repairs have been completed neatly and are not visible when worn. Otherwise presents very well with only minor signs of age and wear consistent with a vintage knit garment.
