Mid-Century Sculptural Raffia Hat - Handwoven Organic Form

A beautifully sculptural mid-century woven raffia hat with striking organic form. One of my favourite pieces in the collection. 

Constructed from intricately looped raffia strands, this piece has remarkable dimensional texture and depth. The surface almost resembles coral or natural fibre sculpture, creating movement and shadow from every angle. In life, the texture is extraordinary. Light catches the layered raffia loops and reveals the complexity of the weave. This piece was difficult to photograph and do justice. 

Condition:

Excellent vintage condition. Structure remains sound and intact. No breaks or structural weakness. Beautiful natural tone throughout. Like new condition

Worn with a tilt across one eyebrow. The hat sits comfortably and securely without movement
