The leather remains incredibly soft with no cracking, dryness, or wear, retaining its original surface and luminosity. The horizontal striations characteristic of eel skin are clearly visible and intact, lending texture without excess gloss.

 The interior is outstanding- completely immaculate, lined in a pale jacquard fabric with no stains, age spotting, or wear. It features its original built-in mirror, which remains crystal clear with no foxing, darkening, or deterioration.
