Vintage 1980s Italian leather statement belt with an oversized gathered bow and gold tone hardware.

Purchased in London and owned by a single owner before entering my collection, this is a beautifully constructed piece that completely captures the 1980s. The soft black leather has been gathered to create a dramatic sculptural bow, finished with gold tone decorative studs and a central gold tone detail.

The leather remains beautifully supple and the belt retains excellent shape. A real statement piece that will totally transform any outfit and with quality Italian craftsmanship.

Condition

Very good vintage condition overall. The leather remains soft and supple and the belt presents beautifully when worn.

There are a few white marks to the leather near the fastening area, as photographed. These were not disclosed to me when purchased and have been reflected in the pricing. Aside from these marks, the belt shows very little wear and presents as if new.
