1980s Chacok Romance Printed Dress - Made In France

French-made Chacok dress from the Romance line, with an incredible, almost 3 dimensional abstract floral and plaid print in shades of black, teal, magenta, purple and red. This is one I’m completely obsessed with- not your average floral dress. 

The cut combines a relaxed smock silhouette with angled wrap-effect panels through the bodice and hip, creating shape without relying on a fitted waist. Dolman sleeves and a dropped gathered skirt balance the volume and give the dress a bit of attitude and a structured shape despite its easy fit.

Made from a cotton and polyester blend with a beautiful smooth hand feel and enough body to hold its shape. The dress slips on over the head and fastens with decorative fabric covered buttons at the neckline.

The print remains vibrant with no fading, and the garment presents in excellent vintage condition.
