1980s Burnished Brass Brutalist Belt
A rather incredible and substantial sculptural belt dating to the 1980s. Constructed from burnished brass-tone metal with overlapping hand-formed leaf or armour-like panels across the front. The surface has developed a beautiful aged patina over time, enhancing its industrial, Brutalist appearance.
Despite its 1980s origins, the design feels very modern and architectural. The articulated front creates a strong figure whether you wear it at the natural waist or sit it higher on the hips. A incredible statement accessory that functions almost as wearable sculpture.
