An exceptionally well made 1970s velvet dress in a rich abstract floral and geometric print with warm tobacco, blush, chocolate and ochre tones throughout. Cut from an unusually heavy plush velvet with a substantial drape and weight, the fabric gives the piece a very luxe feel both on and off the body. The silhouette is soft and fluid with a deep v neckline, full length sleeves and tailored cuffs finished with matching covered buttons. The print photographs beautifully under light, with the velvet catching depth and tonal variation across the surface. Finished with a concealed back zip closure.
