1960s-1970s Large Italian Leather Bag with Sculptural Handles- Deadstock

An Italian-made leather bag dating from the 1960s-1970s, with exceptional leather quality, sculptural form, and remarkably in unused condition. 

Crafted in Italy and bearing its original manufacturer’s material stamp, this piece features substantially thick oxblood leather with contrasting tan leather panels and distinctive rigid handles typical of Italian modernist design of the era. The leather is supple, and richly grained- a fine example of vintage Italian leather craftsmanship.
