1940s Hand-Made Cream Straw Cloche | Sculpted Millinery Heirloom

A 1940s hand-made straw cloche, sculpted in the most modern, wearable form.

This piece was created by a highly skilled milliner, whose precision and craftsmanship are evident in every stitch. The structure is immaculate — tightly woven, evenly shaped, and finished with extraordinary neatness. The brim curves softly downward, framing the face in that unmistakable 1940s way while remaining incredibly contemporary.

Despite being approximately 80 years old, it is in remarkable condition. The straw remains strong and supple. It has been carefully steamed and reshaped back to its original form and presents beautifully.
