beautifully preserved genuine 1940s fur cape from The Georgette Fur Co., Hay Street, Perth - one of Western Australia's respected mid-century furriers.

Crafted from soft, glossy natural fur with a full silhouette and rounded shawl drape, this piece captures the true glamour of post-war fashion.

The cape features its original satin lining, furrier label, and early hook closures. The fur remains thick, even and vibrant throughout, with no shedding, bald patches or dryness. A rare example of Australian furrier craftsmanship in exceptional vintage condition.
