1940s–1950s Chocolate Velvet Flared Gloves

A pair of mid-century velvet gloves in a rich chocolate brown.

Made in a soft velvet with a fitted silhouette and gently flared cuffs. The colour has a depth that is difficult to capture in photographs and the fabric remains exceptionally soft with no thinning or wear to the velvet.

An elegant everyday or evening glove from the late 1940s to early 1950s period.

Condition

Very good vintage condition.

The velvet remains soft throughout with no significant wear, thinning or damage noted. There are a few small white spots visible in places consistent with age and storage, as photographed. These have been left untouched to preserve the fabric. Overall presents beautifully.
