1930s–1940s Fur Lined Lamb Leather Gloves

A beautiful pair of late 1930s to early 1940s lamb leather gloves with original fur lining and amber-coloured button fastening.

The leather has softened over decades of wear and now sits almost like a second skin. The fur lining remains intact and the original maker’s label is still present inside. The creasing and shaping throughout reflects genuine use and gives the gloves a character that cannot be reproduced. I chose these gloves because they have soul. 

A difficult style to find from the era, particularly with both the lining and construction surviving so well.

Condition

Good vintage condition.

The gloves show honest wear consistent with age and use. There is visible creasing throughout, surface wear to the fingertips and age-related marks to the leather. The fur lining remains intact and the gloves are structurally sound.

A well-preserved example that retains its original character.
